History of Women And Women’s Rights

Beautiful work of Françoise de Felice.

Being obsessed with time series lately, I designed a timeline to learn more about women’s contribution to human history. In order to make it as complete as possible, you’re eagerly invited to add what I have missed.

The project is dedicated to women scientists, philosophers, poets, politicians and warriors who, overcoming enormous obstacles and various forms of exclusion throughout much of human history, made important contributions to science and society by acting, speaking, writing, and identifying injustice in the social status quo.

I learned a lot while researching to this project and it was fun to design, thanks to Tiki Toki platform. To see the result, simply follow this link.

If there are any inaccuracies, feel free to correct me.

If you think the timeline is missing some great woman or an event concerning women, just drop me an email at anothercontext[at]hotmail[dot].com.

Thanks and enjoy!
